Stacey D. Porter is a high-level security professional leader with more than 20 years of Department of Homeland Security experience, where he managed security personnel in the aviation and security industry. Mr Porter held a Top-Secret security clearance for over twenty years while employed with the federal government and has experience working with public and private sector organizations at the local, state, national and international levels.

He carries a broad background in vulnerability assessment and mitigation, security planning, threat and risk assessment, and investigative management operations.

Having excellent communication skills with the flexibility to adapt to constantly shifting security priorities, some of Mr Porter’s experience include but are not limited to:

  • Managed and oversaw access into the White House complex and Vice President’s complex, as well as local and out of town details
  • Maintained liaison with other federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, as well as the airline industry and participated in leadership-focused emergency preparedness drills
  • Examined intrusion detection, duress alarm, closed-circuit television, and access control systems for adequate coverage and ensured measures were in place to protect assets
  • Provided physical protection to the highest-level elected leaders, visiting foreign dignitaries, facilities and major events

​Accomplishments

  • Planned, organized and facilitated a two-week vulnerability assessment in Puerto Rico for over 100 personnel at Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) providing recommendations for the airport to the Federal Security Director.

  • Led physical security training events to over 100 personnel.

  • Managed and conducted Special Vulnerability Assessments

  • Created and managed a professional brochure for the Office of Security Assessment (TSA) that outlined the duties and benefits of the security assessment program.

  • Mr. Porter provided security protection for former President Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

  • Played a major role in improving the security at high-risk airports across the country.

  • Conducted trend analysis to identify systemic vulnerabilities and provided recommendations for regulatory rulemaking with airport managers and various stakeholders.Trained employees on conducting security investigations and interviews, writing incident reports, and successful techniques to provide excellent customer service.

  • Traveled domestically and internationally while providing protection for the President, their families, and dignitaries.
